Empowering Change

About Helen

Helen is 25 years in the fitness industry and brings a wealth of experience, expertise and research to bear, together with an infectious enthusiasm for her industry.

She is STA accredited to level 5 in musculoskeletal remedial and exercise therapy, a specialist biomechanics coach, a group fitness professional and personal trainer specialising in GP referral, pre and post natal fitness, lower back pain and outdoor fitness.

In 2002 Helen used her passion for outdoor fitness to develop a programme that embraces the documented benefits of exercising in the great outdoors, delivering benefits beyond general fitness including overall health, well-being and strength of mind.

“The ever-changing outdoor environment provides the ideal place to feed the soul and energise the mind”

In 2014, Helen complimented this with the set up of a small, but beautifully formed studio to provide clients with bespoke programmes to meet their rehabilitation and fitness needs, either on a one to one or group basis.

Before becoming a full time fitness practitioner, Helen was a practising diagnostic radiographer in leading paediatric, cardiac and general hospitals where she also taught fitness to staff. She went on to focus on children’s fitness, teaching key stage 2 science within the PE curriculum, fitness fundraising together with pre and post natal exercise support for new mums and a host of general fitness classes.
