Classes

CLASS DESCRIPTION


All sessions are 1 hour incorporating a warm up period, progressing into a healthy heart section with varying amounts of muscular strength and endurance along the way. We finish up with a cool down period and stretch.

FIT TO RUN : The class will teach the correct form and breathing for the improvement of pace and /or distance with interval training and strength exercises included along the way. Suitable for those new to running or those wanting to improve or achieve a personal goal.

WALKFIT : The class will teach the technique for achieving the correct posture and pace for effective fitness walking as you move through the countryside incorporating some strength exercises along the way. Suitable for all levels.

OUTDOOR FITNESS FOR ALL : The class will incorporate walking with running options to help with not only weight loss but improve stamina and endurance. Includes muscular strength execises along the way.

PRE/POST NATAL EXERCISE : A specifically designed programme to help the body cope with the added demands on the body during and after pregnancy. The session gives special considerations to the pelvic floor, body alignment and the maintenance of fitness during pregnancy and improvement of fitness after the baby is born.



THE WEATHER


We go out in all weathers-sun, rain, sleet, damp and chilly. The terrain will change with the weather and so will the workout. The result is always the same-fun, fitness then home with an energy boost and clear mind.

CLOTHING


You will need your clothing to be light layers, suitable to tie round your waist.
  • Running trainers
  • Supportive bra (women of course)
  • Comfortable leggings and top
  • Long sleeved lightweight top
  • Lightweight waterproof
  • Gloves optional: can be useful all year round for some of the circuit exercises
  • Hats in cold weather
